That is a lot to cover in one morning, and yet this is actually what Rev. David Brown does every Sunday for the congregation of Covenant Presbyterian Church, in San Francisco, CA. Every week Rev. Brown, as inspired by the Holy Spirit, shares God’s message to the people, which involves all of these elements.

He guides the congregants through an exploration of Scripture, history and current events, to help them untangle some of the complicated “how” and “why” questions in everyday life.

Rev. Brown’s sermons are outstanding, because in every sermon he preaches God’s truth in love and challenges traditional interpretations of Scripture, in order to draw greater, more complete truths from the Bible. His sermons are always biblically based, theologically sound, and Spirit-filled, offering unique insights and a deeper understanding of God’s Word to us! Rev. Brown’s theological perspective always focuses on God’s love, grace, and justice, teaching that God’s love and grace are at work in the world, as well as in the Church.
